Building materials needed!

Habitat ReStore accepts new and 
used residential building supplies from 
individuals, contractors, remodelers,
 retailers and wholesalers. Some materials
  are used directly in the construction of Habitat homes, but most are displayed for the general 
public to purchase in our warehouse. 
The profits are used to fund future Habitat homes.

 


WHAT TO DONATE / TYPES OF MATERIALS NEEDED...

          Appliances: clean & working.

          Brick and Block: no broken pieces.

          Cabinets: up-to-date, not damaged, wood and metal.

          Carpet: up-to-date, no stains or odors.

          Doors: all types, no broken glass or rotten wood.

          Electrical: usable fixtures, parts and supplies.

          Furniture: good usable condition.

          Hardware: knobs, hinges, locks, nails, cabinet pulls, 
nuts, bolts, screws, and assorted misc.

          Lumber: dimensional - 6ft or longer, sheets - 1/2 or larger, 
no nails or scraps.

          Paint: full cans, residential use.

          Plumbing: usable fixtures, parts and supplies, clean and drained.

          Roofing: bundled, no scraps.

          Tile: wall and floor, boxed and clean.

          Tools: Hand, garden, working power.

          Windows: all types, no broken glass or rotten wood.

Support Habitat for Humanity's objectives of building simple, 
affordable houses for low-income families.

          Reduce or eliminate disposal costs.

          Keep useful materials out of landfills 
and in use by those who need them.

          Your donation is often tax deductible.

Receipts are gladly given upon request per donation.


HOW TO DONATE...

          Self delivery is encouraged, but pick up can be arranged. 
Please call us at 315-0011 to arrange delivery or pickup.

We do not accept: Clothes, food, computer items, toys, water beds and Christmas trees.

Our staff may refuse some items based on condition & our need for the item at that time.

Please consult a tax professional concerning the deductibility of donated items.
